My mom goes a little crazy during the holiday season—this year she cut out multiple winter-themed paper chains and draped them all around the house. After some prompting from her, I photographed a few of them. In an attempt to be a brat, I laid on the floor of my kitchen and took a photo of this creation, which was located on my kitchen ceiling.

“Follow the Money,” the addage goes, and here we are! This is a sample of information that is publically available, and provides a good background on the budget information of both the the College of Arts and Sciences specifically and whole institution of Lewis & Clark. For your benefit, we draw out some of the major information and interesting points, but we encourage you to dig in further!

Total revenues: $ 68,931,769

Students pay for 84% of the school’s revenue through tuition, fees, residence halls and food service.

Institutional refers to all of Lewis & Clark as an institution: this includes not only the College of Arts and Sciences but the Law School, the Graduate School of Education & Counseling, and any resources in common to the three schools (also called auxiliaries).
